Intriguing ninth-plate ambrotype of what appears to be a little person.  If not this man is surely wearing the most oversized coat he could find.  Besides being extremely long the sleeves are so oversized they swallow his hands.  Now we certainly do love his attitude and small or not we would not want to meet him late night on the street as he certainly looks like a badass!  Sporting a wheel style hat slightly sideways he has a great goatee and mustache and his stare is stone cold piercing.  The image has nice tones and contrast.  At an angle in light we can see a slightly lighter area in the collodion on the left side of his jacket.  It is housed in a full case.  For a small sized ambrotype this one packs a punch!
